The survey was carried out on behalf of the non-governmental organization World Wildlife Fund (WWF).
It was conducted in the framework of the European Commission’s program LIFE+: ‘Thalassa: Learn, Act, Protect’, an educational and participation campaign for marine mammals in Greece.
The survey results were presented at a press conference at the Ianos bookstore in Athens on 08/02/2011.
